Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls 2017: Hundreds turn out to cheer Narendra Modi in Varanasi roadshow



Crowds thronged the streets of varanasi these days as prime minister narendra modi arrived there past due this morning for a poll marketing campaign street show that ended with a go to to the kashi vishwanath temple wherein he offered prayers.

Modi concluded his roadshow at the kaal bhairav temple, after which he's scheduled to deal with two rallies in jaunpur and then return to varanasi.

Even as polling was underway in other parts of uttar pradesh, for the 6th and penultimate phase of the meeting elections+ , the pm's go to nowadays become aimed at the 7th and final segment's constituencies, most of which go to the polls march 8. (two constituencies will vote on march nine.) the pm is a lok sabha member from varanasi.

Of the five meeting constituencies that fall beneath varanasi+ inside the lok sabha, 3 are held by way of the bjp and  by using the samajwadi celebration. For the meeting polls, the bjp is contesting in 4 of five seats and its ally is contesting in a single.

Modi arrived in varanasi in a special indian air force chopper that touched down on the grounds of the benares hindu university. There he become greeted by bjp president amit shah and other senior birthday celebration leaders. Modi then proceeded to a statue of freedom fighter and educationist pandit madan mohan malviya to pay tributes to him.

Then the pm rode in a marigold-bedecked car and waved to the crowds as his convoy slowly crossed the ravidas gate lanka, assi, madani, sonarpura, godowlia and basphatak areas, en path to the kashi vishwanath temple. All alongside supporters raised slogans like 'har har modi, ghar ghar modi'.
